OUR VISION OF FAIR TRADE

Fair trade is based on fair market relations at all levels of the chain from producer to consumer.

After a careful selection of our manufacturer, Krishna and his family chose for the quality of its products, we are able to offer quality goods directly imported by us.

We control the production monitoring, which allows us to offer real guarantees on the value price.

Specifically:

• We advance funds for the purchase of raw materials
• The hammocks, made in South India, come from a family workshop for 4 people including the youngest at 23 years
• Products are available directly from producer to consumer
• We guarantee the purchase of goods amounting to 30% higher than local market
• We transfer skills to the artisans (Internet course and design)

To ensure fairness, we have a charter that we undertake to respect and the principles derived therefrom.

Charter:

• Fixing of purchase price by the artisans
• Pre-financing of raw materials,
• Implementation of the work entitled to fair remuneration,
• Respect for social regulations
• Transfer of skills
• Inclusion of our work over the long term
• Use of new technologies to bring into direct producers and consumers and minimize intermediaries.

These principles are broken down into commitments to allow each of the players entering the human chain of production, distribution and purchasing to achieve a level of quality:

• Work with producers previously organized
• Know the terrain and structures with which we work,
• Ensure product quality by implementing and monitoring the various stages of manufacture
• Improve and demand quality products including responding to the demand for training of craftsmen,
• Exchange and transfer skills: training by a professional on their manufacturing problems.
• Paying a fair price for their activity,
• Minimize the middle giving a leading role in Internet tools,
• Install a lasting partnership, sole way to achieve a real impact on the evolution of living conditions of artisans and their families,
• Imagine the ability of such a structure to generate a business viable and sustainable, respecting people and their environment.

We participate in the emergence of a new "ethnic" consumer citizens and solidarity:
• Empowering consumers through products, exposing him to the adverse effects of international trade,
• Educate and inform consumers about the reality of the artisans, the economy, and politics of this country,
• Ensuring ethical production, compliance with manufacturing standards both for individuals and for their environment,
• Participate in developing sales of fair trade to increase the impact and strength in the southern,
• Educate businesses, including to monitor their suppliers and to better adapt their supply in a more responsible for their purchases.
